The founder of Norasys envisioned a company that would help connect complex systems – sensors, devices, the web and cloud with each other. Since these systems were multi-modal in nature the need to emphasize on their seamless convergence was important. The corporate branding strategy was to capture the company’s core brand purpose – to connect complex systems seamlessly.
We arrived at the name ‘Norasys’ after an extensive study and dozens of naming suggestions. The name struck a chord with the client for 2 reasons. Nora in Arabic, means light and is also the name of a river in Sweden, where the company is headquartered. The ideas crystallized into a cohesive brand-mark of a star-light formation made up of two connecting arrows. The brand colors were inspired by the Northern Lights popularly seen in the Swedish Lapland.
